What to expect
What is the service like?
During our time together we will worship through song and prayer, listen to a Biblical and relevant message from one of our speakers, and have plenty of time for fellowship. Our people love to meet newcomers and value catching up with friends before and after the service. Light refreshments and coffee are always provided.
What should I wear?
At Compass we work to create an environment that is welcoming and casual. We want you to feel comfortable the instant you step foot through the door, even in what you’re wearing. You will notice that some people prefer to wear their very best and others are happiest in jeans and sandals.
What about kids?
We are family oriented and believe that children are the next generation of our church. Therefore, we want them to attend and participate in our service. Currently, we have children’s church first weekend of each month for children ages 3-12 years old. We also have art supplies and activities available for young children to use during the service. You will find these resources as you enter the front door. *We are in the process of developing a weekly program that will meet during the regular church service.
What if I need help with accessibility?
We want every person of all abilities to be able to access our programs. You will find parking and wheelchair accessibility on the left side of our building at 318 Main Street. There is also an elevator for easy access to our children’s programs located on the second floor. For individuals who are hearing impaired we can offer ASL translation services with prior notice.

Children's Church
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”
Currently, we offer children’s church the first weekend of each month. Children ages 3-12 years old will participate in a Biblically-grounded program that provides a safe atmosphere for children to learn about Jesus through engaging and creatively communicated Bible lessons. They will have the opportunity to participate in worship through music, prayer, crafts, and games. Our heart is for children to come to know and love Jesus and to be equipped to share Him with others.

At Compass we believe in doing life together. We want everyone to find where they feel they belong and can grow, and we think that happens best in small groups.

At Compass our mission is to belong and grow within the church body so that we can serve others. We believe that service should not only happen in our church but also in our homes, workplaces, and community. As a church we are God’s hands and feet to show up on the behalf of others and to make change happen. We encourage all those that attend Compass to be engaged in service and work to provide opportunities for all. Currently, we are partnered with several organizations in the community as well as committed to providing prayer and financial support for an orphanage in Uganda.
