History

Compass Fellowship NWA was started with the intent to be a safe place for people to seek Jesus. The initial dream was to reach the young adults in the community that were not currently engaged in a church. It did not take long to discover that Compass was a place for people of all ages who are seeking Jesus for the very first time, returning to Him, and also for those continuing their journey as a Christian.

Our story started in 2007 as a ministry of the Gentry Seventh-Day Adventist church where a small group of Christ-followers met in the Ozark Adventist School youth center. We moved several more times as attendance grew, most recently meeting in an old elementary school building by Ozark Adventist Academy. September 2016 - August 2020 we have been located at a beautiful building in downtown Siloam Springs. As of August 2020, God has led us to our very own building.

What to expect

What is the service like?
During our time together we will worship through song and prayer, listen to a Biblical and relevant message from one of our speakers, and have plenty of time for fellowship. Our people love to meet newcomers and value catching up with friends before and after the service. We are currently following Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and therefore asking everyone social distance and wear a mask while inside the building.

What should I wear?
At Compass we work to create an environment that is welcoming and casual. We want you to feel comfortable the instant you step foot through the door, even in what you’re wearing. You will notice that some people prefer to wear their very best and others are happiest in jeans and sandals.
